Good Day Folks!
Project Completed! I am going to make another one, that he can take home with him. I am going to add his name going down the board, and make a better clown on that one. It makes me smile, how much this simple toy makes him laugh.

I also made a quick video of Aiden enjoying his new toy. Not sure how to embed the video, so I provided a link below

Cute toy and cute kid! Bet he loves his Grandpa. Nice job on that, and I'll bet it's not the first thing you've made for him.

They are not nearly as hard to make as you might think but, they do take some time.
I'm not sure where I got the pattern (it might be one of Steve's) but, if you are interested, I did take some construction pics if you are interested and I am willing the share them.
Now that I think about it, I think the patterns were in a scroll sawing magazine a few years ago. If you want, I'll try to track down my copy and give you the info.

Good job Steven. I watched the video and saw the joy you gave! Way to go!
Roger that looks fun. Maybe open another topic with it and share your procedure and your source.

I am fascinated by gears and marble machines, I have plans to start working on some of these projects.

Hi Steven...Great job mate. I loved both the finished product and your youtube video of your grandson happily playing with the toy.
The other thing I consider a plus, the toy does not need batteries.
