I really like the new military designs (with the initial "A" for Army and then the word in the box).
Would anyone be so inclined to do law enforcement and fire department designs similar to that. Apparently I am not any good at computer design, seems so simple and yet I can not get it to layer or unlayer or join or whatever is needed.....
Anyhow I would like to cut out "FD" with a box for me to insert the name of the fire department ex. Syracuse
Also "PD" with the box for the name of the police department ex. Syracuse
"S" for Sheriff
"T" for Trooper
and if you do take on the project can you let me know what font you used so I can match the words I insert in "FD" & "PD" as I have several I wish to do.......Thanks ;o)
-

Deanna You had the same Idea as I did I was up last night playing around with it it is real easy Now that Katie showed us how to do it I did names of the family their first name was the big letter then the last name in the box it turned out ok looking not sure how well they will cut but for now on Computer papper they look good so give it shot and play around with different ideas and see what you can come up with this is how projects get started from a simple idea to selling the work... And we Our very own Teacher to thank... see Mrs N (Katie) even at this age we our all still students in your class.lol

Hey Katie, Maybe you should just post the PDF file or do the short video and post on you tube..
To all those who want the directions just to do one letter, you do not need to do just one letter you can do whole words like breeds of dogs w/ the name of the dog in the box, For example I made one that said Pastor with his name in it Haven't cut it yet but on paper it looks good. No reason to limt yourself it is real easy and Katie breaks it down to the point I even understood it so have fun with it...
-
I would post it on the forum, but the file is too big. I think I have gotten it to everybody who wanted one.
-
thanks Katie just got my copy.
Todd

Oh didn't realize that but I still say you should have put it on you tube and then posted the link here..... But you are the greatest Katie.
