Title: Best font question
Post by: Paddy on October 09, 2020, 11:15:11 am
Hi

I would like to make some small plaques (for Christmas) that would display some thoughtful quotations. I'm thinking of 3/4" with an 1/8" backing. The front in white and the back in black. Nothing too fancy just simple and readable.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Paddy

Greetings, Not knowing your scroll saw abilities makes it hard to make suggestions. An introduction would have been nice.
FREEFRM721 BLACK BT works well for most.
God Bless! Spirithorse

Thanks for the suggestion but I am not a fan of birds of paradise font for this project but the freeform fonts may work. I am a low intermediate as far a my skill level. The more I do it the better I get. It forces me to focus very intently which is a good thing.

Hi Paddy

If you will PM me your email address I will send you a PDF of all the Scroll fonts that I have on file. (47)

I am a font hog.  I save all sorts of stuff some good some okay.

I use NexusFont https://nexusfont.en.softonic.com/ (https://nexusfont.en.softonic.com/)to categorize my fonts and so when I have a phrase I can enter it and browse.
