SAVING LOG-IN INFORMATION....
« on: July 27, 2013, 01:44:44 pm »
Here I go again....I know I have asked this question and months ago one of you gave
me the answer that fixed everything.  Well so far my example is Yahoo Email.  Where
when I clicked on email the window popped open showing mine and the wifes email
address.  Normally all we had to do is click on one of our addresses and the password
would show.  DOT-DOT-DOT-DOT thing.  Now all this happens, but another window
pops up saying it the wrong PASSWORD....  So now we have to TYPE the password
in each time.  This happened months ago and basically was a simple fix by clicking on
TOOLS-OPTIONS AND MAKING SURE THE BOX WAS CHECKED THAT SAYS SAVE
ID AND PASSWORDS.  It had and still does have the check.  Have RESTARTED the PC
Didn't help.  Same thing.  Any advice would be GREAT....  Thanks...........Danny  :+}

I read a while ago that yahoo was killing unused e-mail accounts and making the user names available for new folks.  I imagine if you use your yahoo e-mail regularly, this shouldn't affect you.  If you use it rarely, they might have killed it.

Well, you've got me there.  I know that often when you put in your password, it asks if you want to save it.  I don't know that it's 100% but if you say no you never seem to get that option again.  Maybe if you could get that back you could make it work again.  Unfortunately, I have no idea how to make that happen.  Used to be you could redo something like that by deleting your cookie for that site but I can't even find where my cookies are stored anymore.
