Hi,
Here's my latest Intarsia, Puppy in a basket its made from Oak/Beech/Walnut and finished with Wilkinsons finest gloss spray lacquer, fairly quick one for a change and took 4 days including time for finishing. Measures approx 9" x 12" x 3/4"
Cheers and hope ya like it.

Thanks everyone and although its a pretty basic pattern I must admit I like the finished item. I'm currently working on another Motorcycle Intarsia and as usual made the pattern from a photograph. Its a BMW K100RT from the mid 80's (I have had a few of them) and its one of those bikes where you never see any merchandise etc like diecast models or badges/belt buckles etc sort of a forgotten BMW model so thought I'd be the first to remind people of them, they were the first fuel injected BMW bikes and had the "Brick" engine which many old school BMW fans hated but those who rode them know what a great touring bike they were and there's plenty still around.
I'm at the cutting out period of it and will soon get onto the sanding/shaping bit which takes ages but helps to create a real 3d effect. I will post some pictures soon of this project.
Cheers and take care
