Title: Hello from Colorado

Greetings everyone
My name is Mark and for 20 years I built custom cabinets. I was all in a days work. I am done with that and have moved on.
Now it is more enjoyable to do all the things I had to do. I have wanted a scroll saw for a long time and today my wife surprised me with a new Porter Cable 18" Early Christmas present. I look forward to learning many new things while here.

Hi Mark,

Great to have you with us.  Nice of your wife to get you a saw, but you better watch out that she doesn't try to steal it from you.  As you will find out, this hobby is addictive!

And yes Julie I have saved some wood scraps mainly walnut and maple.
