If this continues Russ will get a swelled head. Then we might be in trouble as he might let something slip through.  ;D ;D ;D
I have not met Russ in person, but I have spoken to him many times on Skype. He really is a mellow guy!

Well, sorry to hear that some people have had some pretty bad spam sent on their posts. Russ, you must be doing one heck of a job, cause I was completely unaware of it. I have done mod work in a world wide RPG. It isnt easy work stopping some people from being complete idiots. I think this site is fantastic. I know I would be nowhere near where I am in this hobby without SWC. Thanks Russ and thanks all else who make this one of my favorite places to be online.

To the person or persons that made the derogatory remarks just remember this, Russ is not a robot on duty 24 hours a day, he is a person with a life not always taken up with scrolling or the forum. He is a kind and caring person that we all love and without him we would not have Santa Russ or a fairly smooth running forum. So in future think before you let your fingers loose on a keyboard and run the risk of having all of us on your case.

Russ you have our FULL support, keep  up the great work. ((((HUGS))))

Thanks everyone for your support and kind words. 99% of the time the forum runs smoothly, a few spammers/porn makes its way in from time to time and they get banned or I have to delete a few posts from time to time for one reason or another. Normally a piece of cake.

My post "Spam and Porn Posts" was ment to set the record straight for a few who either don't understand that this site is free and or that Steve and myself volunteer our time to keep it running. So therefore if you run across a post that is spam or porn, just report the post and move on. There is no need to make remarks. Normally that is what happens and I take care of it as soon as I can.

Once again, thanks for your support and kind words. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to know all the friends I have made here and you are all are happy. At least most of you LOL.  ;)

Thanks, Russ  :)

As best I recall this particular incident was the same 'post' that appeared in three different sections of the forum during the wee hours of some recent morning.
I happened to be having one of my sleepless nights and happened to see them and did the "Report Post" thing and signed off.
By the time I re-entered the forum a few hours later the 'posts' were gone from all locations.
Who and from where the derogatory 'posts' came is a mystery to me to because Russ must have seen my 'alerts' and immediately taken action.
So I can confirm...if you see something that should not be here then just hit that 'report post' button and it will be taken care of as soon as Russ sees it.
Moderating an online group is no easy task, I know because I have and still do moderate other groups.

Thanks to Russ for his moderation services. Without his diligence things could get real messy!

Further THANKS to Steve Good for making the whole thing available to us!
