Lucky Last
« on: December 17, 2012, 12:44:23 am »
Lucky last for the year.  First I would like to thank Old Crow DonR for his help with these. Don did the pattern of the boy and I did the pattern of the girl but Don looked it over for me and that was a great help.  Thanks Don.
I actually stack cut 4 which is a first for me and I am happy to say that no one lost an eye this time. LOL  The wood is 3mm Hoop Pine marine ply and the frame came from a $2 & More shop and cost about $5.00.   Hope you like it.

Great job on that one Marg.  I like the contrast between the two and the cutting looks very sharp.  Thanks for sharing with us.

Eyes and Portraits?!?!?!?  I have learned to START with the area that includes the eyes and then TAPE over them top and bottom!!!

You did very well!
I know how many "Hail Mary" moments portraits can give you so I feel qualified to say that these are very well done!
