Thanks for the info. I guess I could just use the same spray glue as I use to put patterns on?

Tutorials, Techniques and Tips / Glueing fabric to back of fretwork
« on: December 16, 2011, 12:44:28 am »
I made a BB fretwork 1/4" and Im wondering about useing box tape to seal the back of the project to keep out the BLO . Soak it, let it dry,  then microwave to remove the tape, clear spray it,  and glue fabric to the back of the fretwork on the bare wood.
any suggestions?

Computer questions / Pattern Resizer
« on: December 10, 2011, 11:11:13 pm »
Hi all

Steve posted a program for resizing his patterns and also an add on for the program.
Anyone know where I can find it. It was on his page.
I think it was in the fall of this year.

I have the EX16 and the blower works fine.
When you buy the saw, the blower is on the left side I mounted mine on the right side.
What ever works for you.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Mini Nativity
« on: November 21, 2011, 09:56:11 pm »
I cut out the Mini nativity mostly with Birds eye Maple 1/4"yesterday.
I enlarged the pattern to 130% and used a # 3 blade
I stack cut two layers with a little glue near the edge to hold the two pieces together
For the Manger I cut one at a time and used a # 7 blade ,didnt have anything larger
Not sure how I want to finnish it. if I want to use a dark stain or what yet.
Any ideas?
