Yes I used the BLO at 50/50 .
Also how long will this mixture keep in a glass container.
More than a year?

I made a key chain and soaked it in BLO for about 10 minutes.
then padded it dry and hung it on a wire to dry for a few days.
How many days do you wait before you can spray it with polyurethane.

I've made a key chain with a name on one side and something else on the other side.
I used polymer clay on the one side  and sculpey clay on the other.
My problem is the filmo polymer clay bakes at 230 F for 30 min  and the Sculpey clay bakes at 275 F for 15 Min.
Im ready for baking . but not sure if I will over cook this or if it will cook properly.
Anyone encountered this problem and what temp to cook it at.

Computer questions / Key chain maker SVG file to gimp
« on: December 09, 2012, 08:37:17 pm »
I used Steves key chain maker and made a key chain and exported it to Inkscape.
Did some work on it and want to export it to Gimp.
How do I get a SVG file into Gimp.

Thanks

I downloaded inkscape and wondered if and how to work in inches instead of metric.
How do you go about changing to inches

Thanks

Hi Don

I have the clamp on model from Busy Bee.
It has a florescent lamp. with 3 x power lens
I have mine  clamped onto a wall to prevent vibration, and I close the cover when not in use to keep the dust off the lens.
Works great for me.

Snow today in northern ontario, I had to clean the snow off the windsheld of my car. A few weeks ago it was nice weather. Summer is coming?

When I got my new saw it only had a small switch so it was hard to find in a hurry.
I bought the dead man foot switch and it works great for me.
Foot switch all the way for me.
