Here is a pattern from Steve that was posted 12/28/19 on his blog.
The wood for the horses is Virola at 1/4" thick that has been run through a wire wheel machine and painted black.
The back piece is palette wood which has been burned with a propane torch.
It has a chain attached for hanging.
Finished dimensions are: 10 1/2" T x 14 3/4" W
It is a gift for my daughter for the place she has her horses.

The plaque turned out Great. Your Daughter will love it. I like the burned effect of the propane torch, looks good.

That is really nice! I have horses, would you adopt me and make me a sign? ;)
Well done. I'm sure it will be really appreciated.

Carl, it looks like your a member of the Great Dad club. Congratulations. Question - what were you referring to when you spoke of a "wire wheel machine"? Regards > GLC in Cypress, Texas

Thanks for the positive comments!
GLC - the wire wheel machine is a large machine the owner of the business I work at bought to distress wood for the beams we make.
