Thank you.  I was not intending to sell the pattern.  It is just that when someone asks I say that it is a "revamp" of a commercial pattern.  So now I need to get a hold f the author to see if I can sell my finished pieces??

I take patterns from books and change them.  This is an example of the pattern as it was in the book and my finished piece.  I do this with many patterns.  Is this wrong? can I take credit for the design?

I'm from North Dakota. I just started scroll sawing.  I have made a living being an artist.  Two years ago I lost most of the use of my right hand.  I found scroll sawing.  It has saved my sanity .
