Awesome work Dan, love the pattern.  What took you 3 - 4 hours to cut, will probably take me a couple of days ( I am a slow cutter and have to take a break every 20mins or so to move my leg about)
Beautifully cut and I can't wait to see the finished framed Owl.

Here's the owl pattern for those interested. If you cut it, please post a picture. The cut lines are in red. If you want it in black, just let me know.

Thanks.

Amazing job Dan. An average of 100 cuts per hour is a great pace. You must have extremely nimble fingers.

Thanks guys (and gals).

Mike, with the spiral blade and many small cuts, I was able to do two or three of the small ones per minute. Gotta love top feeding.

I finally got the frame done. My table saw sled must have got bumped because the corners are off a bit. Oh well, I guess I'll have to fix it before the next frame.

The frame is sassafras, which smells wonderful when cutting. Glass front with black matting in the back.

Nice. The frame looks great. The owl seems to be raised - nice effect.

Great owl! It's going to be a long time until I get enough speed to cut that lot in 3 or 4 hours. :)
