Title: Abbey Road
Post by: ToverT on June 06, 2013, 10:57:07 pm
I cut two of these for my show last month and they both sold quickly and to the same person.  So, I wanted a few more for my next show on the 23rd.  I cut these from a piece of Birch Paneling.  I chose this piece of wood because it seems to simulate them walking on a road with a lighter background.

Thanks for Lookin'

The color contrast works great for that profile. I like working in solid birch hardwood.

Tommy, great job.
How much did you get for them? I have three of them on my website for $15 each.

@Pete...one was in a frame $25.00 one not in a frame $20.00.  The frames are from the dollar store.  I guess things are more expensive here in California.  The show that I go to is in a Affluent Beach community so maybe that's why...I can dig it!  :)  Surfs up Dude!  :)

Nice job, Tommy!  Where did you get the pattern?  I have a friend who is a huge Beatles fan and this would make a great bday present.

Barry, you can look around this site somewhere.  It's hiding on there somewhere!

Those look good. I wonder if your location in the world makes a difference in their selling so well. Nice cutting.

Nice.   I sometimes think that my Uncle is the lost member of the Beatles.   He really has the Beatles look about him and he plays Bass.
