Just finished one of Steve's Patterns for my brother-in-law. He like to catch & release - I, on the other hand, like to filet. He and my sister like to RV and they take their two dogs along. So i mounted Steve' design on a cedar board and made two "gang hooks" to hold the dog leashes. I've included a view of the back to show the mounting detail for RV motion. Thanks for looking. Very very nice.
I like the use of the keyhole router bit on the back, good thinking. Is that a dremel keyhole bit or a regular router bit?

Jim - I used a regular keyhole router bit in a plunge router with a home made router template.

Great work Brian. When I saw that pattern I made a couple of them.
Speaking of jigs, would you share a photo of yours for the keyhole bit. I always free hand mine. At work I make jigs for anything I might router more than twice. i.e. hinges, outlet boxes.

Karl - this is probable more than you asked for but others may need more info. 1) Just the jig fixture with test board. 2) Router at start position held firm to the bottom & left wall of the jig - plunge down. 3) With bit locked down to desired depth ride the left jig wall to the top of the jig. 4) With the bit still locked down move the router right to the right hand stop. For those who haven't used a plunge router & key hole bit, you must back up to the start position before turning the router off and allow the bit to come up through the original larger hole.
