I cut this from a Basswood Blank and put some red felt for the background. I gave it to my mom for her birthday

That is pretty nice. I bet your mom loved it. I love the way the wood still has bark on it. Very nice cut and the red in the back looks good. Thanks for sharing, the only problem is my wife saw it and now she wants one. I told her yours was a one of a kind.

Thanks everyone! The blank I used is about 9"-10", you can purchase them at crafts stores. Very soft wood, cuts real easy but very delicate.
