I just designed a intersecting word pattern in inkscape . I want to share it but it is a svg file how do I convert it to a jpg file so I can share it.
Thank you for any help.

Mimi one way to do this is to save the .svg file as a .png file and then open it in something like paint, paintshop pro and then save as a .jpg.

hi
as DW says or if you have GIMP just open the svg in that and export back out as a jpg

file /export in desired format

What I do is:
Open the file in Internet Explorer, right click on the image and save as - select [filename].png and save.
Once saved you can either print it as is, or open it in Paint and print or save as a jpeg.
Just be aware, once you change it from a svg or png, you will lose the transparency (backgorund) of the image.
Hope that helps
