wood gloat

i work in a lumber yard and today one of our cabinet suppliers decided to change all the color chip in our display.  i was   busy and didnt see what was going on but one of the other people i work with ask me if i could use the chips or they were going to throw them away.  well i look at them and couldnt believe my eyes..... about 140 pcs of solid hardwood 5" by 5 1/2" and 7/16" thick of oak, maple, cherry, hickory, alder, lyptus, pine, and a couple of other all  finished and ready to be cut into...... well i cant make up my mind yet.
i would post some pictures but cant figure out how  to attach the pictures.

well off to my magazine rack of scrollsaw mags to get some ideas.

if someone will tell me how to upload the pictures i will post them

Sorry Kendall -

No one is speaking to you.  We are all jealous.  (only kidding)  Congratulations on being in the right place at the right time.  It is neat to have some special wood, your mind just spins on what to do.  I know you will figure it out.  A real good problem to have  :)

Wow.  Just wow.

To post a pic you need to click on the "Additional Options" thing below the posting/typing area.  One option is Attach.  Use the browse button to find your picture and then click on post.  There are limits to the size and number of pictures per post but it spells that out for you.

Some people have all the luck. Really though congrats. If you go to Bulletins and News category, Steve has a video on attaching pictures to your posts.

Ornaments, ornaments, ORNAMENTS!!!  Or  . . . in the new Creative Woodworks they have some cool jewelry.  THAT would be fun!   Like winning a 'wood lottery' I would think!  How fun is that going to be trying all the different kinds?  I can't wait to see!  :)
