Title: Priiming the pump
Post by: Vince on June 19, 2010, 09:56:06 am
2 reasons to do this:   I have many small patterns, pasted and all ready to cut. I have a plastic jar I toss them into. They are my way of priming my mind to cut patterns, I may cut two or three or as many as 50. After they are cut I toss them into another jar and use them as hand outs at events. I give them to kids - mothers eyes light up and I seem to sell more stuff. I love seeing the smile on the kids faces and it gets moms talking and looking and perhaps buying. It also gets rid of the scrap wood I have everywhere in my shop - LOL

That's a Great idea!  Nothing like a little PR work to get things going.

Vince, that sounds like a great idea I think many of us scrollers who are just starting out in the selling world ought to try.  I have never seen it done here in Missouri.  I am guessing after I get enough stuff made to be in a show, I will try your idea.  Thanks.
