General Scroll Saw Talk / drying wood

hi i realy need some advise my son has a large quantity of wood ash beach cherry oak walnut he sells this for logs my question is about seasoning would i have to cut it 1st or season it 1st iam looking to ring some at poss1" and maybe cut some for just planking small enough for scrolling i have a small planner thicknesser
but am not too sure of the prosess some of the wood has been down 2-3 yrs any advise welcome

hi just wondering how i can size patterns and print them eg if i want a pattern say 16 x20 my pattern come up in photo shop i have gimp / inkscape where am i best to size them and print them on multiple paper a4 size printer please make any responses easy not too good on computers

General Scroll Saw Talk / 1st time with spiral blades

hi today i had a couple of hours with spiral blades after 20 mins i got better and now i think there realy good
and will be order fd 3s and 5 in bulk i seem to have alot more fuzzies with these but that was on b/ply on hardwood not 2 bad the only thing i found not 2 be to good was tight corners i was using a fd 3 do you all find corners difficult or do you use normal blades 4 tight corners regs clive

i have a axminster awfs18 a hegner copy but this cuts so slo ot sure if it needs setting up my delta and other saw cut fine even flat out it struggles only 2mths old but has never cut very well am i doing somthing wrong looking to get the ex 21 soon but would like to keep this as a backup 25mm wood it struggles with blade does not seem to tighten please help

is it me or do spiaral blades not fit properly do i need to bend them to fit properly iam new to them
had a little play and thinking there gunna be hard to use on inside peices any tips would be great as iam thginking there gunna be slow

hi can anyone tell if the excalibur ex21 you guys talk of is it the same as the axminster tools 1
in the uk axminster do several copys of the hegner like awfs 18 any comments would be great as iam thinking of getting 1  regs clive

twice now ive use birch ply and have had veneer lift when cutting fine areas i used this before and had no probs not sure if it was b4 i got fd ultra blades this was on 6 and 9 mm ply should i be using different blades if so what blades do you recomend also as i have a source off good veneers would these work on mdf or ply any tips 4 this would be great regs clive
