I had a play with it in Gimp but this is as far as I get.

Hi all, could anyone possibly make a pattern from this photo of my sister's dog, please? She had to have the dog put to sleep earlier this year and I would like to make her a reminder.
Full size photo at http://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll198/haydut1200/Nomad_zpskrzh0ekt.jpg  Background and collar can be removed.

I am going to sneak in here and cut Newfie's for a friend who always wishes the horses he backs would run faster, and I have added Dave's to my garage of motorcycles and cars. It's becoming quite a collection that would make Jay Leno jealous.  ;D

I was bored this afternoon so here's a different style one.

Merlin, have you tried left clicking the link? I can download it that way. I don't know why it's black if you open in another tab as it's white if I do it. I'm uploading again as a jpg instead of png. If you still can't get it, PM your email address and I'll email it to you.

I just realised that it's no good as it is, it splits down the middle, so I've redone it.

Is this any good. Not perfect, I know, but you could easily alter it to suit before cutting. Should print at about 6.5" x 3.5"

Looks like an original saggioculo. Nice work.

I had to Google saggioculo. Looks like he hasn't posted much while I have been around but I found his tumblr pages and he's been quite prolific with some excellent work. The page title is a little unfortunate though, "Me And My Wood", or maybe it's just my schoolboy humour showing itself. :)

Thanks for all the comments.

Heheh, I didn't know about Gimp, so we both learned something there. :)

Good job there, Dave. Definitely not an easy photo to work with.

I had to have a play :) I made a PDF of it and it would print at 18" x 7" approx. Taking it to 12" deep stretches it too much.
I didn't join the text to the border as I assumed, maybe wrongly, that it would have a backer.

It's probably of no help in this case, but PDF's can be opened directly in Inkscape.

Martin.
