What's happened with the forum ?
When I was a user a couple of years ago the forum was busy with regular posts from members , A real interesting forum , and now it seems very little is happening ? any reason for this ?  :(

I'm 79 with neuropathy in my hands and feet. I'm left handed and my left hand has tremors but I can still scroll. I think the worst that can happen is for the blade to nick a finger which is only minor. My hands are supported by the table making the hand steady.

I am just back from taking the saw over to my daughters , They will take it to Colin ( Son in laws dad ) next weekend
I have given them the basic run down on how the saw works and blade changes wtc

Hi

My son in laws father has Parkinson's and I was wondering if its a good idea to lend him a scroll saw ,

He likes doing things in his shed , He is up for trying it ,

Im more concerned if he injures himself

Anyone offer any advice on this please ?

Collected my latest machine today a Hegner pollycut 3  ;D

It weighs a tone , I could only just lift the machine  :-\,

I could feel my back objecting  :o 82 lbs

Have run it just to make sure its all running as smoth as silk ( It Is ) may contact Hegner UK and as what need to be serviced before I put it into use

I had one of the first EX30 machines and it stopped working within days , The early machines had problems with the wafer thin wiring breaking , Hopefully on the later models its now sorted
Sold my machine on as I had no confidence in it  ???

Hello times 2  ;D

I was a forum user some time ago , Life and work pressures got in the way leading to not much spare time , I forgot my provious forum name ? Maybe  Londoner ?

Anyway I have re registered as SS Novice , Yes I am trying to learn

Off to pick up a better saw tomorrow so I am all keen now

I will have a go at Steves Band pattern , I am also a big music lover so this project if it turns out OK will be for me in my music room  8)

Hope you are all well and enjoying this absorbing hobby / business
