I have used food coloring on wooden balls for children's toys, using water to dilute the dye, however this caused the wood to swell and split. Using alcohol eliminated this  problem and also gave better color results.

I have the 4" belt w/6" disk, a 1x 30 belt sander, and a spindle sander. I use the 4" belt sander and spindle sander the most. If I had to choose just one it would be the 4" belt sander.

Another of Steve,s patterns. cut in 1/4" prefinished maple plywood. the frame is pine with flat black and burgundy paint.

I have the Bosch 4100 Saw without the gravity stand, I've been real happy with it. The wider cut on the 4100 works better for me.

When I tried the site on my desktop computer running Windows XP all I saw was a grey screen and no navigation, but when I tried on my laptop running Windows 7 everything worked fine.
