This is a wall plaque done in 1/2" Mahogany. Finished in boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits mix. Top coat with deft semi gloss spray lacquer.
Pattern by Berry Basket.

Very nice.  I like the message too!  I like the way you finish your work.  One day I'll start experimenting with that.

Judy, Deft is a brand of spray lacquer. It comes in gloss, semi gloss and satin.
You can find it at Home Depot, Lowe's and Woodcraft.

Thanks guys.  Nearest Lowes or Home Depot is 100 miles one way.  Oh well I nalways like an excuse for a ROADTRIP!!

geezzz Judy, you must really live out in the sticks! In the county I live in there are 4 HD's and 2 Lowe's. You might try Ace or True Value.

Yep as we say, I liuve way out in the "toolies".  My nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away and that is my son.  16 miles one way for groceries.  I like it like that ;)
