i have some basswood rounds with bark around the edges, is there anything i can put on the bark or treat it to keep from flaking?

how about a supply category for anyone to post where they buy tools, wood, etc. or perhaps where a particular shop is having good deals or sales on supplies. thanks.

you lay in bed recovering and think about what new supplies you need of course lol.......so i went shopping sort of: ordered more wood from my fav seller on ebay, visted mikesworkshop and bought 4 styles of blades, bought some split key rings in bulk for some keychains i had made awhile back and forgotten about, sent my sons to walmart for more spray adhesive and polyurthane.

maybe today i can get my sons to vaccum my work area....nah who am i kidding, ill have to bribe em first instead lol.

fooling around one night with a paper guitar template that came with my sons guitar hero game, I had an idea lol. as you can see I cut the body of a guitar and then scrolled some musicians into it and made a clock. I used 1/4 baltic birch and polyurethaned it, also added black felt to back.
