I took another one of steve's patterns and added a little for my aunt and uncles 50ty. She said when she got it she cried(they were going thru a tough time losing a daughter). I told her i didnt think it was that bad but ok.

Thank you for all the responses, is the Deft satin spray sold at home depot, lowes or wal-mart? I'm not familiar with it but I really like the lhe looks. I'll look on the net. Thanks again.

I am putting a finish on my first intarsia using tung oil. I put on a coat of sealer first but it seems the oil is just soaking into the wood. Am i just being impatient or should keep adding oil? Any suggestion?
