I finished the Woody today. It's good size, about 20" long. It's probably about as big as one of those Tonka trucks kids play with. It's all Walnut and Cherry Wood.

Good luck at the sale today. Any idea what the woody+trailer will sell for? Sounds like you have a lot of $$$ and time in it. Please let us know how the toy market looks.
Did you make & paint these wheels or did you buy them somewhere?

Awesome work Tommy, Love the way they came out. Reminds me of the Car and Air-Stream looking trailer. which is about 75 years old, I still have.

That looks GREAT. Obviously some serious time and effort there. Thanks for posting.

The Woody and Teardrop did not sell. It had tons of ooooooooohhh's & awwwwwww's. Not even one person asked "how much"? $150.00. I did really good at the faire. Sold a lot of things, bowls, baskets, hiking sticks, lots of knifes, key chains. It was a good day. I really don't care if I ever sell the Woody, I like it to much myself! Maybe I'll raise the price just to be sure it don't sell. :)
I bought the wheels on line at a craft site. $10.00 for 20 wheels, made of wood and I painted them. I might try to make another one and paint it...pic attachedm I like the Green and yellow one. I have to cut the cost of this piece, using 3/4' wanut and 3/4" cherry is just to expensive. I'm thinking of using 3/4" Aspen and 1/4 Walnut. I think the Aspen will sand nicely and take paint easy and is much much cheaper. We'll see, I'll let you know if I attempt another one.
