Title: Death of a scroll saw
Post by: jimbo on May 25, 2010, 10:16:28 pm
Hi Folks
My Ryobi died yesterday YIPEE I suppose it was second hand either that or I worked too hard, the unfortunate thing is that it has made me an adict and I am having withdrawal symptons already, I think I will go back to my lathe and tell it all about it, it may not listen though as it has been neglected for the month or more

Hey Jimbo, I know what you mean! My poor little lathe hasn't been used in a long time, even though I have turning projects I need to start.
It looks like your in the market for a new saw! Happy shopping!  ;D

Wow, I wasn't expecting a Yippee, lol.  But I can see the yippee potential.  Will you be asking your lathe what to buy next or have you got that all figured out already?   ;)

Let's all bow our heads as Jimbo's Ryobi goes to Scroll Saw heaven to join the others that have passed on.

May Ryobi and all the others have never ending blades and no more pain from us anxious scrollers pushing the wood upon them.  May Ryobi and the others cut with ease now.  May they all continue to cut beautiful cuttings and hold their saw arms high as they display their cuts of beautiful art.

AMEN!

HAHAHA!!!!

To me, Ryobi is almost the equivelant of a kamikaze or suicide bomber of scrollsaws.  They hardly last for those who scroll often.  Congrats on a new one.
