Title: Small project 'dipping'!
Post by: GrayBeard on March 14, 2011, 01:30:29 pm
I had a great idea this morning in the 'deli' section of the supermarket!

I was buying some "Spinach, Artichoke and Portabella" patties that my grocery chain makes very well. (delicious)
I remarked to the manager who was putting them in a plastic tray that the tray would be great for dipping my small pieces in BLO!
I asked what she would charge me for 6 of them and she just looked at me and stacked 6 more on the bottom and put the whole thing in a plastic bag with the price of the patties on it!
Pays to be friendly with the Deli Mgr.!!!
Fairly sturdy plastic trays that measure about 4 1/2" X 7" across the bottom. Use 'em, wipe 'em out and use 'em again!

"Fringe benefits" are always a nice surprise.  I often receive something the same way, and it's always unexpected.

If you get much pizza, the "new" unused boxes are great for putting presents in.  I have yet to have to pay for one..

I would not leave the solution in the "plastic" trays very long.  I had one distort very badly very fast and then I did have a mess to clean up..

Stick to metal trays is my recommendation..

GOT the 'number' and this gives a whole new meaning to "DIPPING"!

And yes, Gabby I do love 'dancing' so have pretty good footwork, still, even with a Titanium knee.

As far as the B.S. you must understand I am a "Gemini"!

Hey GB, I'm a Gemini, but I don't have your gift of BS'ing. So what gives?
So mines the 11th, When is yours?

I'm on the other end..May 29th along with Bob Hope, Bob Gibson, JFK and Annette Benning!!!!

Are you sure you are Gemini? My chart shows Gemini from May 22nd to June 21st...that would make you a Taurus!
The BULL!!!

Bog Gibson?

One of the greatest pitchers of all time!

But in the last half hour I have discovered I had been given wrong information by my deceased friend!

Gibson was born on Nov. 9th not May 29th.

So I guess i will just have to stick with Annette!!!
