Title: Dumb Question
Post by: Judy Hunter on February 27, 2015, 03:33:49 pm
When drill bits are so small they go by numbers instead of size.  Are they like wire.... the smaller the number the bigger the wire? or is it the bigger the number the bigger the bit?

A #1 is the biggest numbered bit and a #80 is the smallest bit.
Hope that helps.

Ha, dumb?  I finally wrote the diameter of the bits on the outside of the container.  Got tired of trying to remember which way the numbering went. :o

The only dumb question is the one not asked.
