Ornaments
« on: November 18, 2014, 10:40:12 am »
I decided to try these Intarsia ornaments. I made four of each. Used many different woods. They disapeared as soon as they where finished. Debated making more of them.

That is so cool and unique. I am very jealous of your creative idea...nice work!

Those are really great!  Do you make your own patterns or are those available somewhere?

Thanks everyone! I wish I could do my own patterns, I have No talent there. the plans are in a Holiday edition of scrollsaw magazine. It doesn't have an issue number or date. I'm guessing it's from a few years ago

I don't think it would matter how many you made they would all go very quickly, they are great.  Did you find them a little fiddly to make?

Nice work, Crusty!
Thanks for sharing.

For Paul and others that are interested;

The ornaments are from Kathy Wise and can be seen here
http://kathywise.com/store/christmas.html

As stated on the Steve Good forum, they are also in a past issue of
Scrollsaw Woodworking and Crafts magazine.
God Bless! Spirithorse
