Title: Question about poland wood?
Post by: beaverwoodworking on November 05, 2014, 08:22:05 pm
My brother was in town from Poland a while back, and while here I got him started on some simple Scroll projects. Needless to say he is now hooked. He was able to get his hands on a saw but now don't know what kind of wood to use that might actually be found in Poland. He really liked using the basswood. The Questions is, what wood from Poland is good for scrolling?

Thanks everyone.

I would think that he should be able to get most of the common type of woods found world wide.  Baltic birch ply is made in Europe somewhere. I think Finland or some place like that. They have to have lumber yards in Poland. I hope this is some help--Richard
