New Bowl

The pattern for this one is my own design.  Made from BB ply and stained a Colonial Maple then finished with semi gloss Deft Laquer.

About 2 days ... but that was mostly for the drying time of the glue and the finish.  The sanding only took about 1 1/2 hrs. total.  Did not work on it straight .. had other projects I am working on at the same time.

looks great, but I can't work out how you laminated or cut the ply.

Another AMAZING glue up.  I still haven't tried it.  Maybe after the first of the year.  Beautiful as always.

Malc it is not too difficult.  Plywood has a top and a bottom and you normally use it that way, what I did was to cut 3/4 inch strips out of the sheet of plywood then turn them on edge and glue them together making a blnk about 8 inches square.  Hope this explanation helps.

Very nice job!
That is one way to use plywood that I had'nt thought of!
I may just have to try that sometime. I have cut several plywood projects but always did it in the other direction. It took me some time to see how you did it too.
Thank for showing it. I'm always interested in unusal ways of doing things.
