WooHoo...Finally, we have become GREAT grandparents AND that's not all. They are healthy Identical TWIN boys.  Great grandma is soo pumped, I had to put a kite string on her to keep her here on earth.

Pattern Requests. / Very Frustrated!

About 3 days ago, a dude  (I think a newbie) requested a pattern of an older couple sitting on a couch holding hands.  The picture quality was only fair and being a full body picture, the face features were quite vague. I worked on the pattern for a couple of days off and on, and finally got the pattern where I thought it would work for him.  I started to post and lo and behold the requestor deleted the request and has dissapeared.  Mind you, I am not complaining, however, it is very frustrating to go to that much work (for free) and find the requestor has gone.  Just Venting.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Bamboo Pad

I have a question...I keep hearing things about a bamboo pad. Just exactly what is it and its purpose?
I am thinking maybe it is to have better control of the cursor. Would it help in tracing?  Haven't found a dealer here who can tell me.

My name is Ron..I have been scrolling for about 5 years and I mostly like to make portrait patterns for members and friends.  I mostly give my cuttings away as this is just a retirement hobby for me.  I follow Steve constantly and enjoy trying his new ideas.  Hope to be on this site often
