You might also try Hobby Lobby, Home Depot or Lowes and if you have Menards close by I know they have lights also

Don't know if anyone is still reading this post or not, but I'll try anyway.  Check inside your clamp and make sure there is nothing in there, like sawdust or in my case a broken piece of blade, that likes to drive me nuts until I found it.

I use the #3 FD UR and the #5 FD UR from Mike.  I didn't have much luck with the Olson blades.  Also if you buy from Mikes you'll get a great price and get them quick.  They are plane ended and also the new ones have a (for lack of a better term) a bump at one end to let you know easily which end is the top.

Oh Chuck, I'm going to try at some point.  But for now I'm still working on getting fingers dirty doing simple patterns and trying to stay on the lines.  Biggest thing I have to learn right now is to slow down.  I've already learned to walk away when I start pushing myself.  Takes time but I'll get there.  And

Maybe it is just me being simple minded, but does anyone know how to convert pixels to inches.  My cheesy picture program wont allow me any choice but pixels

Hello Louis, Bill from Indiana here.  Bought a box store brand saw myself just to get started.  Seems to work okay after being given some good blades.  I have made some fancy looking firewood but getting better a little at a time.  Ask lots of questions, these people here are super talented and what I have read so far has helped a lot.  Also look at some of Steve's patterns, I hope this doesn't offend but some are easy and great for learning curves and straight lines and some are seriously cool.
