Dragonlords post reminded me of this one.
There was this eldery lady whom had a blockage in her sink. She phoned the plumber and aranged for him to come by the next morning. The next morning the lady had all forgotten about this appointment and went shopping. She had a parrot you should know. While she was gone the plumber came by he rang the bell and the parrot asked " who is there?" the plumber explained who he was and why he came. Nobody opened up though so after a few minutes he rung the bell again. Same thing happened, he gave the same reply. But still nobody let him in. This continued for a while and all the time the plumber was getting more fed up and cross. Till at last he dropped down with a heart attack. The elderly lady came back from shopping, saw the man and while opening the door said "wonder who this is?" To which the parrot replied "It was the plumber who came over to fix the sink."
