Wedding Plaque
« on: May 04, 2013, 11:39:42 am »
I have just finished cutting this pattern (made by woodywoodscroller, thanks woddy for the pattern) I changed the names and date, I was hoping for some opinions on which colour of backer to use?

Very nice cutting Keith! I like the black better, but you might ask the Bride what she thinks, or maybe her family.

great job, nice pattern.
although the red also looks great to the wood, I would say black for the best look.

Very nicely cut, the black seems to be the color for that one but I agree check with the bride.  Thanks for sharing this with us.

It's for my Niece's wedding, and she doesn't know she is getting it, so I'm afraid I can't ask her without spoiling the surprise.

Great job, really nice. Red is more associated with Love. Think about valentines, red roses, red hearts, red balloons. It trends to dominate all other colors.  ;)

Lovely job as usual Keith. I like the black. Wife as usual, non committal, she likes both. ;) ;)

Nice job, I usually back with black, but in this case I'm with Russ, I like the red.

Color - any color - not black for a wedding.
