Holy cow, thanks all for the nice comments!  This is really encouraging. 

Pete, did you really count them?  I didn't but I was curious.

Graybeard, the #3 was really the 3/0 New Spirals, they are great.

Rdatelle,  I used #1 and #3/0 spiral blades from Mike's Workshop.  I bought some  to try them, will have to place another order and stock on them.

Wow that is certainly a piece to be proud of.  It is so intricate.  I always keep a piece of paper and a pencil next to my drill press and as I'm drilling holes i count usually 20 at a time and make a mark that way when I'm finished I know how many cuts I have made, especially on intricate ones like this.
