Here's my latest. Been working on it for quite a while, trying to get the design just right. Next up, done in oak.

Next cut should be even better, as the blades I really needed to cut with, and ordered will be here tomorrow or Tuesday

I'm not a designer by trade, however with the right graphics programs and looking to books for ideas, I've been able to come up witnh designs as needed.

I have to admit, that I got inspiration to make a pattern for this shield after I saw a shield cut by a fellow NY Police Officer. I retired from the NYC Transit Police Department which prior to it's merge into the NYC Police Department in 1996 was a separate police department in NY. I collected clip art of eagles, the NYC seal and police shield and went to making a pattern. Yes, this was my police shield. Hoping others will want one now too.
