The woman liked both patterns and chose Ron's version.  This picture doesn't do the cutting justice but I had to shrink it this small to get it uploaded.  Thanks to both Ron and Ray for doing this and doing it so quickly

Ron,

The pattern looks very nice.  I'm going to let the woman choose which pattern she wants to go with.  I'll post a picture once it's cut.
I tried to load the original picture but I was limited on size to get it posted.   You both did an amazing job considering what you had to work with.  Thanks a lot.

Thanks for doing this.  I'll let you know how it turns out.

Will a pattern maker please make a pattern out of this picture?   All that is needed is the couple, not the background.  I have tried but cannot do justice to the picture.  Thanks in advance to any help that can be provided.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Excalibur Blade Holder

Al and Tony,

Thanks a lot for the advice.  I did remove the plastic and the dust collection port.  The blade is so much easier to connect now.  I also have a different way to cut down on the sawdust and couldn't believe how much more room I have for my hand with the port gone.  Thanks again.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Excalibur Blade Holder

I've recently upgraded to an Excalibur 16-inch scroll saw.  Although I like the saw very much I am having a hard time securing the blade to the bottom mount.  There is a thin piece of plastic directly on the under side of the table with a hole in it for the blade to go through.  I'm not sure what this plastic does but I think it's getting in the way of aligning the blade to the bottom mount.  Is this plastic necessary or is it safe to take it off?  Thanks in advance for any assistance.
