Computer questions / old stencil printer

I have Steve first stencil printer.  After I designed a stencil I tried to print it and I keep getting a message that I have to close the VPE.  What  the heck is that?  Also I want to made the stencil multiline how do I do that?

I have a friend that wants a plaque that reads "Thank God for dirty dishes.  They have a tale to tell.  While others may go hungry, we're eating very well."  This hung in her mother's kitchen and now is lost.  Any help would be appreciated and thanks you all. I showed the wonderful patterns of native americans that I copied from this site to friend at work.  She ask if I had any squaws that would go with the Chiefs that Mahendra made.  I think what she is looking for is a set of male and female for her wall.  If anybody has a pattern for a squaw I would greatly appreciate it.  Like a few of us here I can't draw worth a hoot, but I do admire your skills and talents.

General Scroll Saw Talk / scrollsaw stencil printer

After I have designed my project, how do I get it to print?  When I hit the print buttom a window come up that VPE is open and cannot print.  I have tried to figure out how to close it, but I don't see the button.

Is there a pattern program that has different font styles and sizes?  What I am looking for is one that I can do different desk sets with different styles of lettering for different customers.  I also don't want to break the bank getting the program.

The Coffee Shop / unwanted E-mail

Has anyone had some new unwanted E-mail?  I have just in the last couple of days started getting some e-mails from some kind of a Harry Potter group.  They had address me with my scroll saw log in "Jeff44".  I only use that log in for this site.  I thought I had better ask to see if anyone else has had a similar problem, and warn you about it.

Does anybody know where I can find a pattern for a family crest.  I have found a web site for the family crest but not for a scrollsaw pattern.  The family name is "Conway".  It is my spouse family and I want to honor her mom and dad adt the family reunion in June dthis year.

I am looking for patterns for the "Four Season" hangers.  I want to try them out of Teak or Walnut to hang on the wall.  My wife has some Chinese hanging, but I want something different in four seasons.

I have friend who just completed a new deck made out of Teak.  He has some pieces off the ends and asked to make him a Celtic Cross out of the pieces.  I found a piece big enough but I have never worked width Teak.  Can you scrollsaw Teak?  It is very strong but very birttle.  I know you have to treat any drill holes like going thru metal but what about the blades?  Any help will be appreciated.

Computer questions / Shopping for a new computer

I have finally decided I need to upgrade my computer in my work shop, from a desktop to laptop.  The problem is I want to start doing some pattern designing and storing.  My wife has a Dell laptop but I don't like it and it is several years old.  I have looked at Toshiba at Best Buy, but I really can't make heads or tails of them.  I know I want at least 3 gigs of hard drive and memory of 320 to 500 gigs.  The processors are where I get in trouble, what makes the best speed for what I described.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
