General Scroll Saw Talk / masking tape vs painters tape
« on: January 14, 2011, 09:43:35 pm »
Has anyone ever tried masking tape in place of blue painters tape, I've noticed it's cheaper but wonder if the glue will stick as good as it does to the painters tape?

« on: December 31, 2010, 01:42:21 pm »
I have a close friend with a band that plays big band music every New Years usually a hotel/dance combination, We usually go where he is playing but because of icy, crappy weather we are staying in and cooking up a prime rib roast, maybe a martini before and a nice glass of Pinot Noir to wash it down. Happy New Years all!!!  Pete

I built this camper from a picture.  In the catalog it was $300.  The only scroll work is the faucet and showerhead.  Hope my granddaughter likes it!

For some reason I'm breaking blades right at the bottom hold down, am I tightening them too much? They're FD so I'm sure it isn't the blades, I'm using #3 cutting 1/4" plywood  ???

Ask Steve a question. / loading pictures
« on: December 04, 2010, 05:03:02 pm »
Hi Steve,  I found your video on loading pictures great but you said there would be one to follow to instruct how to upload a picture that is too large, I am trying to load some pictures but repeatedly get the too large message. These pictures are just in my computer not on Picasa.  Thanks Pete

General Scroll Saw Talk / Walnut logs
« on: September 21, 2010, 09:03:50 pm »
I have several walnut logs (cut to 3' lengths) can I do anything with them, or is it too late, about a year old some splitting on the ends has happened, I don't have a planer but I could cut them and save them for planing later. I'm thinking more for the round relief not boards.
