I wasn't able to complete the entire project solely with my scrollsaw, but the majority of it was. Anyway, I just wanted to share and get some opinions.

Very nicely done. Where did the plans come from.... yours? Thanks for sharing this with us.

Dw, I modeled the project based on a picture I saw on Pinterest. I used CAD design to create the scroll work to my own personal taste and then was able to produce the patterns. I did, however, use my wood lathe to turn the spindles on the front. The back (not visible) contains a barn door style window which gives me access to the inside for cleaning.
So, I guess you could say the picture provided the inspiration, but the design is mine. Thanks for asking!

Very Nice work.
If you have not seen it, there's a true type font called "Scroll Beach Italic.ttf" that is a good option to the Stencil font (it makes characters that can be scrolled without parts falling out). You can install it on your Windows PC and all the Windows applications (Word, GIMP, Inkscape, etc.) should be able to use it.
We can't attach a ".ttf" file, but if you send me your email address, it might show up in your inbox...
