Title: scroll saw pattern maker
Post by: agooday88 on October 07, 2013, 06:48:54 pm
Hi,
I need some advice. I am making a name to cut out. I followed the instructions on the video. I have made a few names and printed them and they came out good. But when I put in the name Tim, the beginning of it ( bottom piece) is longer then the ending bottom piece. So it isnt equal. I hit the period and slash to get these front and back pieces added but cant understand why the front of the name is longer then the back. What is my problem? I need to make this for a present, so a quick reply would be great.. thanks all. H A G Day!

yes see what you mean- but I think you will find that the width of the letter bases are proportionate to the overall width of the letter, therefore on a capital T the base is in proportion to the top cross bar of the letter and thus looks slightly longer than that of the M.
but to get you going just print out the pattern an then strike a line through were you prefer it and cut to that line.
