When I'm done cutting a project I'm anxious to get it finished ASP. So I don't have any unfinished projects laying around.
The only things unfinished are small ornaments or handouts I cut at demonstrations at Woodcraft. I just save them for the next demonstration.

once I get going I, like so many must finish it, if there is a problem (weak wood, certainly not due to my inexact workmanship) then it's time for a "re-design" sometimes a menorah may become a plain old candelabra
