Ask Steve a question. / tape on Luon

i had a request to make "puzzle piece" picture frames 1/4in thick. to in order to have a backer i am using 1/8th in luon plywood.
when i peal off the blue painters tape it tends to take long slivers of wood off the face.
will the shelf paper from your 9-6-17 prevent this from happening?

General Scroll Saw Talk / plain end adapters

i looked high and low and read review after review before i picked a scroll saw.
the wen was in my price range, reviews said that the holders for the "plain end" blades stunk.
i thought... "well anything i want to do i could do with pinned blades"... yeah right!!! lol
the adapters that came with the saw held the pinless blades just fine, but when you disconnected the top to put it through a hole the whole bottom holder fell off the machine. AAAHHHHHHHHhhhhh!!

i am having fun now..... 1 3in zip tie (cut off) on each side of the bracket holds the adapter wonderfully.

i hope this might help other newbies like me.

i have made things from wood before but am new to "woodworking".
i started putting together a very small shop and my wife surprised me with a scroll saw.
i have grown to enjoy it and want to go farther.
