Oval White Cedar Bowl
« on: October 28, 2012, 02:09:43 pm »
I was given a 10 foot long x 12 inch wide x 3/4 inch thick badly cupped board that appeared to be weather worn pine after running it through my thicknesser it turned out to be white cedar.  Now I have a board that is only 5/8 thick now but had gorgeous grain.  I designed this and cut it at a 31? LSD ( Left Side Down ).  The finish is shellac.  The bowl is 11 inches long x 6 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches deep.
