Title: Frosted plexi-glass
Post by: Shogun on July 03, 2013, 01:36:37 pm
While working on a project this morning I was reminded of a couple of techniques that I haven't used in a while and wanted to share them. When cutting plexi-glass run duct tape over it (just like you would painters tape over wood) and it will keep it from melting back together as you cut it. The other one is that most times, at least where I live frosted plexi-glass either is too thick for the application I want it for, or it is more expensive so I buy regular plexi and frost it myself by running my random orbit sander over it a few time using some 120 grit sand paper. Presto...instant frosted glass.
