Gifts for the Grandkids

I made the doll cradle for my granddaughter about 8 years ago. Then for my grandson I didn't know what to make for him that could become a hand-me-down to his kids.  Then I found the rocking horse pattern and it looked great.  To my surprise I was able to make both on a scroll saw. I got the pattern for the cradle from "The Berry Basket" and the pattern for the rocking horse from "The Cheery Tree".

Sawdust, they are both awesome, great projects and beautifully handcrafted. The young ones will enjoy them for years to come and yes I have to agree, they are good candidates for hand me down to the next generation.

They are both beautiful.  I wonder if they make an adult sized rocking horse.   :P
