I am not sure this would work for our North Dakota weather but in a small shop it would be great.
Question ....would it be safe??

I can't see where it would be much of a problem as long as it doesn't get knocked over accidentally.
I would worry if there are children playing in the area but other than that, GO FOR IT!
I'm not sure if it will provide all that much heat but, like anything else, it is worth a try and I might be surprised.

Well that is interesting I might have a go at one of those.
If the power ever goes out in the middle of the day what a life saver (not literary) but why sit in a cold room if it works.

I have also seen this one before, my wondering is how hot doe sit really get? Is it enough to heat a room, there are alot of factors to it, I don't think it would do that much, I get more heat and comfort sitting in front of my 2 500watt halogen work lights.

Well, only one way to find out how well it works...I have a dozen tea lights in the basement. Now I just need to find clay pots.
